Synopsis: This text is very special to who I am, and how I came into an understanding of the history that my ancestors brought with them, which has and continues to influence all Spanish speaking communities today! The Bullerengue is such a special and treasured dance! It is a cumbia, and once upon a time my sister and I used to perform this dance all the time when we were touring! The influences of the Bullerengue come from a variety of different regions, and bring even more cultural richness and tradition!
