Allison brings over a decade of experience as a passionate Spanish language educator. Her enthusiasm for exploring diversity within world language communities has been an essential part of her personal journey.


Allison is an advocate for diversity, inclusion, and Afrolatinidad. She has long believed that world language education fosters cross-cultural understanding. She founded β€œThe Cultural Classroom,” a small ed-tech business, dedicated to helping teachers integrate authentic culture in their curriculum.

Presenting on themes of social justice, DEI, intersectionality, and more at in-service county workshops, The Greater Washington Association of Teachers of Foreign Language, FLAVA, The World Language Podcast, The World Language Teacher Summit, and ACTFL, she shares her extensive experience, education, and passion, empowering educators to create culturally rich and inclusive learning environments. Allison had the joy of being the 2024 Keynote speaker for FLENJ.
