SO EXCITED TO share this text with you all! It has taken me way too long to finish it, but now it is finally done! This text is very special to who I am, and how I came into an understanding of the history that my ancestors brought with them, which has and continues to influence all Spanish speaking communities today! The Bullerengue is such a special and treasured dance! It is a cumbia, and once upon a time my sister and I used to perform this dance all the time when we were touring!
